1. Introduction

The Department of Computer Science, Doodhsakhar Mahavidyalaya, Bidri, entered into a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pratham Infotech Foundation, Pune, in collaboration with IBM Pune, to enhance academic, technical, and professional skills of students.
This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia by providing training, workshops, certifications, and technology exposure.


2. Objectives of the MoU

  1. To provide students access to high-quality technical training programs.

  2. To conduct workshops, seminars, and skill-enhancement activities.

  3. To develop employability skills among Computer Science students.

  4. To support digital literacy and technology-based learning.

  5. To build institutional connectivity with Pratham Infotech Foundation and IBM.

  6. To promote industry-academia collaboration for future projects.


3. Scope of Collaboration

Under this MoU, the following activities will be conducted:

3.1 Training Programs

  • Basic to advanced technical skill development.

  • IBM-supported modules on emerging technologies.

  • Hands-on computer training for students.

3.2 Workshops & Seminars

The MoU includes organization of workshops on:

  • Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

  • Data Analytics & Cloud Computing

  • Programming Languages (Python, Java, C)

  • Cyber Security Awareness

  • Career Guidance & Soft Skills

3.3 Internship and Certification

  • Opportunity for students to participate in Pratham Infotech Foundation–IBM internship programs.

  • Certification courses under IBM SkillBuild.

3.4 Faculty Development Programs

  • Training programs for faculty to upgrade technical and pedagogical skills.

3.5 Technology Access

  • Support for digital tools and online learning platforms.

  • Connectivity with Pratham Infotech Foundation networks.
